Fiber Splicing Specialist Position:

We are looking to add to our team of Fiber Splicing Specialists here at HyperTower. No prior fiber optic experience is required to join our team. We offer a 6-month apprenticeship program where we will teach you the basics of how to do your job well. In this role, you can fully expect to be earning $50-$60+ per hour within 5 years of employment. Here is what that progression will look like: During the 6 month apprenticeship program, you will earn $32 per hour. During the next 6 months, you will earn $35 per hour. (From there, all raises will be earned based on performance.) By 2 years, you can fully expect to be earning a bare minimum of $40+ per hour. By 3 years, you can fully expect to be earning a bare minimum of $45+ per hour. By the 5 year mark, you can fully expect to be earning $50-$60+ per hour. (These rates include all aspects of our performance based comp plan, including per diem, travel incentives, performance bonuses, etc.) In addition to the direct compensation, our team members also receive medical, dental and vision insurance (paid entirely by HyperTower), a $50,000 life insurance policy paid by HyperTower, hotels fully paid by HyperTower, full service 401(k) with 5% company match, paid holidays, paid sick time & paid time off. - By the 5 year mark, you will receive over 4 weeks of paid time off annually, not including the paid holidays. This is a mandatory full-time traveling position . Our home office is located in Macon, MO, but we travel all over Missouri, Iowa, Illinois and the surrounding states, so you will be staying in a hotel Monday through Thursday. Our typical rotation schedule consists of driving to the project on Monday morning, staying on the road throughout the week, and then driving home on Friday. This allows everyone to be home Friday evening through Monday morning of each week. We value quality time with family and friends, which is why we do what it takes to ensure that 100% of our team members are allowed to be home every single weekend throughout the year. In addition, no one is required to drive a personal vehicle to a project. Each person on our team is assigned their own company truck and fuel card that will be used for driving to and from the projects. This is not a temporary or entry level position. All of our splicers are highly responsible A player employees that are willing to do what it takes to succeed in this career. Each person typically works by themselves throughout the entire day, and is solely responsible to pull their own weight. We have high standards and are serious about getting the job done fast and efficiently, while simultaneously maintaining very high-quality workmanship.
