Field Cable Technician

OVERVIEW

Small locally-owned telecommunications contractor looking for a cable technician. Willing to train, but prior experience is a plus.

DESCRIPTION

Cable technicians are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial cable infrastructure for internet services. Job duties for cable technicians include creating cable pathways, pulling cable, inspecting cable lines, laying ground cable, and termination and testing of Cat5e, Cat6 and fiber optics. Involves ladder work in commercial spaces. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must have reliable transportation, integrity, and strong communication skills.
