Field Engineer for Summer/Fall RnB Enterprises, Inc. Oxford, CT Job Details Full-time $27 - $37 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Dental insurance Paid time off Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description We are looking for an experienced Field Engineer to both work on technical items in the office and in the field to join our audio-visual integration business. You should have the means and opportunity to obtain certifications relevant to our work. Communication skills will help you negotiate relationships and work effectively with our clients. The goal is to complete our projects on time and in budget.
Essential Duties:
Provides technical expertise for the integration and operation of AV equipment Performs troubleshooting, configuration, integration, and testing of video conferencing and audiovisual equipment Pre-commission systems in the office by organizing equipment per room or sub-system; unbox and assemble as needed to configure and test all equipment before shipping to site; package kits for installation on site. Support commissioning AV systems at client sites by assisting in optimizing all the settings in the equipment to ensure the system is operating as designed according to scope and drawings. Perform programming and configuration loading and testing, debugging control system with remote programmer. Assist with network configuration implementation. Overlap with design engineering and installation teams to ensure a seamless high quality project delivery Proactive communication with RnB team members Training clients to use their AV systems Grow certifications and technical knowledge. MA, and Western RI Skills:
Proficient in integrating AV systems Skilled in using the Microsoft Office Suite Strong written and verbal communication abilities Quick learner with the ability to acquire new skills Reliable, well-organized, and detail-oriented Excellent documentation and communication experience and skills 5 Years' experience in the Audio-Visual industry that includes customer site installation experience Experience and success with leading or co-leading a team to project completion Extensive experience with systematically troubleshooting technical issues High value for customer service and experience with tactfully navigating difficult customer interactions Passionate for continued pursuit of knowledge and understanding Drive and passion to succeed Experience in configuring and testing multi-display video walls Additional experience in configuring, calibrating, and testing LED video walls is a plus
Certifications:
CTS or CTS-I Dante level 2 HDBaseT Master Certificate Shure Integrated Systems Certification - Level 1 Atlona Audio Enhancement Why work for
