Field Operations/Project Coordinator Job Overview Premier Northern Michigan roofing company is seeking an experienced and motivated Field Operations/Project Coordinator to join our team at our newest Michigan location in Manistique, MI . This position plays a key role in helping organize and support all areas of roofing operations, including residential, commercial, and repair projects. The ideal candidate will help coordinate crews, prepare projects for production, improve workflow efficiency, and assist in building and growing our repair/service department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with roofing industry experience who enjoys leadership, organization, problem-solving, and helping teams succeed. Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to: Coordinate and organize roofing projects from startup through completion Assist with scheduling crews, materials, equipment, and subcontractors Ensure projects are properly prepared and ready for field production Support residential, commercial, and repair divisions as needed Help develop and grow the company's repair/service department Communicate with customers, suppliers, vendors, and team members Monitor project progress and assist in resolving issues quickly Conduct site visits and inspections when needed Maintain project documentation and workflow organization Help improve operational processes and team efficiency Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment Qualifications & Skills Roofing industry experience required Knowledge of residential and commercial roofing systems preferred Strong organizational and leadership skills Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Basic computer and project management skills Willingness to travel within Michigan when needed Valid driver's license and clean driving record required What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Health/Dental/Vision/401K/ PTO Leadership role in a newly expanding location Supportive and team-focused work environment Long-term career opportunity with an established roofing company If you are looking for an opportunity to help build and grow a successful roofing operation while being part of a strong team, we encourage you to apply today.
