Data Centers / Mission‑Critical FacilitiesPosition OverviewThe Field PLC Engineer supports the deployment, commissioning, and troubleshooting of PLC-based control systems for large-scale data center facilities. This role is highly field-focused and client-facing, working hands-on with HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems to ensure reliable system performance during critical project phases.Key ResponsibilitiesCommission, start up, and support PLC control systems at client sitesProgram, test, and troubleshoot Rockwell / Studio 5000 PLC systemsSupport static and dynamic commissioning of HVAC and central plant systemsDiagnose and resolve logic, hardware, and communication issues in live environmentsCoordinate with clients, contractors, and engineering teams during deploymentImplement site-specific PLC modifications and control strategy updatesDocument field changes and support system handover to operations teamsRequired Qualifications5+ years' PLC engineering experience with strong field commissioning backgroundHands-on experience with Rockwell Automation / Studio 5000Proven commissioning experience with chillers, boilers, or central plantsExperience with redundant PLC architecturesStrong troubleshooting skills in fast-paced, mission-critical environmentsWillingness to travel up to 50-60%
