Full-Time We are currently hiring a Field Service Technician to service and repair peanut combines, bean combines, and other agricultural equipment in the field. This position is based out of Adel, GA and involves traveling to customer locations for onsite diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs. Some paid travel is required. We are looking for someone with direct experience working on large machinery, heavy equipment, or agricultural equipment who can work independently and professionally in field environments. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical issues on agricultural equipment Perform field service repairs and preventative maintenance on peanut combines, bean combines, tractors, and related machinery Travel to farms and customer job sites for service calls Inspect equipment and identify worn or damaged components Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs and equipment issues Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation Keep service truck, tools, and work areas organized and maintained Follow all company and job site safety procedures Requirements Direct experience working on large machinery, heavy equipment, or agricultural machinery is required Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities Ability to work independently and manage field service calls Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required Ability to work outdoors and in varying field conditions Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Preferred Experience Experience working specifically on peanut or bean combines Diesel mechanic experience Hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting experience Welding or fabrication experience is a plus

Pay:

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
