Field Service Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated service technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various security systems. This role requires a strong understanding of cabling techniques and the ability to work effectively in the field to ensure high-quality service delivery to our clients. Duties Install and maintain low-voltage cabling systems, including Ethernet and telephone lines. Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge to perform installations efficiently. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer networking and security systems. Conduct field service visits to assess client needs and provide solutions. Ensure compliance with safety standards while working on-site. Document installation processes and maintain accurate records of services performed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion and client satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience in security installation or as a service technician is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively. Familiarity with cabling practices, including low-voltage installations. Basic understanding of computer networking concepts is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently in a field service environment while maintaining professionalism. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
