Field Service Technician - Berlin/McConnellsburg PA

Kappus Company is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on a variety of commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to work independently, problem-solve in the field, and deliver outstanding service to our customers.

Essential Functions:

Disassemble, reassemble, and perform scheduled preventive maintenance, overhauls, and troubleshooting on all types of commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment Adjust, align, assemble, calibrate, inspect, lubricate, and test equipment, utilizing both mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills Assist with the installation and removal of countertop beverage equipment for major corporate accounts, ensuring proper electrical, water, drain, airflow, and space requirements Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment to perform service and repairs Develop solutions that serve the best interests of the customer while maintaining company standards Order necessary parts and complete all required paperwork accurately and timely Communicate effectively with customers, field supervisors, dispatchers, and fellow employees to ensure seamless service Manage vehicle inventory, maintenance, and appearance to meet company requirements Complete all work tasks safely and efficiently in accordance with company safety standards

Qualifications:
