Field Service Technician - Electrical Focus (CNC / Industrial Equipment)

San Antonio, TX About the Role This is not a routine maintenance position. We are working with a group of industrial machinery companies in the San Antonio area that need technicians who can step into real-world problems — machines down, installs behind, customers waiting — and figure it out. If most of your day is spent troubleshooting electrical issues, working through control systems , and supporting equipment in the field, this is the @type of role for which they are hiring. What Work Looks Like Travel to customer sites across the region.

Troubleshoot and repair:

CNC machines Press brakes Fiber lasers Automated equipment Focus on: Electrical systems (primary) Control systems and PLC-driven equipment. Secondary mechanical issues

Support:

Machine installs Startups and commissioning Pre-install prove-out in the facility. What They Are Looking For Strong electrical troubleshooting ability: Reading schematics Tracing faults Diagnosing control issues Experience working on: CNC equipment, OR Fabrication equipment (press brakes / lasers), OR Industrial machinery Exposure to PLC systems: Allen-Bradley Siemens Ability to work independently in the field.
