Job Description

S ummary:
The Field Service Technician I I - will assist senior Field Service Technicians with operating and maintaining utility scale solar facilities. This work includes preventative and corrective maintenance of on-site ass ets such as solar panels, trackers, and power inverters.
Requirements :
Takes direction from senior site personnel. Sets positive example for junior technicians. Troubleshoots low voltage DC power systems. Troubleshoots low voltage and medium voltage AC power systems. Conducts preventative maintenance on AC and DC power systems. Uses hand tools effectively and appropriately . Utilizes a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Ma i n t a ins inventory of spare parts and consumables . Follows site sa fety plan and safe work practices. Adheres to proper Lock-out-tag-out (LOTO) practices and procedures. Interfaces with project stakeholders (owners, equipment manufacturers, etc.). Interfaces with project subcontractors. Represents RES in professional manner to project stakeholders. Operates RES company vehicles, including trucks, in accordance with state and federal laws and RES policies. Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected. Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and C ompany Policies & Procedures. Presets, supports, and leads by example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
Safety:
Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action. Ensures that safety is the most important function, follows safe practices while working. Reinforces safe behaviors and eliminates "at risk" behaviors. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properl y. Ensures Job Hazard Analysis (JHA's) occurs before scopes of work commence. Adheres to and understands standard operating procedures. Receives job- and task-specific training prior to work commencing.
Qualifications:
High school/GED General Education required. Certification
OSHA 10/30
preferred. Certification FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot preferred. 3 + years or more Related maintenance experience required .
Basic knowledge of:
High voltage electrical power systems Intermediate Knowledge Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Low voltage and medium voltage e lectrical power systems Drawings C ircuit theory OSHA regulations Equipment operation (skid-steer, forklift, etc.) Job hazard analysis (JHA) creation Electrical tools (multimeter, IR camera)
ANSI/NETA/MTS SC ADA
systems Advanced Hand tools
Functional Competencies Include:
Collaboration, Attention to Detail, Ethics & Integrity, Communication and Prioritization. Domestic travel 5 -1 5 % required. Valid Driver's License required.
Anticipated base salary range:
$ 28 . 7 9 - $ 3 5 .99 The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. RES offers benefits that are effective first day of employment.
