Hours:

40 hours per weekWe are seeking a Survey Technician with hands-on field surveying experience to support boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking, field data collection, and related project work. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 6+ months of field surveying experience who is comfortable working outdoors, traveling to project sites, and using surveying equipment such as Total Stations, GPS equipment, digital levels, and field data collectors . Candidates with Trimble GPS experience , AutoCAD/Civil 3D exposure, FARO scanning, drone/SUAS, LSIT, or PLS certification are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Perform field surveying activities using Total Stations, GPS equipment, and digital levels Assist with boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking/layout Collect accurate field data and verify measurements on active project sites Establish and maintain survey control points and benchmarks Read engineering drawings and calculate horizontal and vertical positioning for construction layout Support survey crews with field documentation, coordination, and data collection Perform property and deed research related to surveying activities Assist with drafting existing site conditions and survey deliverables using AutoCAD/Civil 3D or related software Follow company and project safety procedures while working in the field Support 3D scanning and drone operations as needed Qualifications Minimum 6+ months of hands-on field surveying experience required Experience operating Total Stations, digital levels, and GPS equipment Experience supporting boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking Familiarity with Trimble GPS equipment and field data collection workflows preferred Ability to read and interpret engineering and survey plans Associate Degree in Civil Technology, Surveying, or related field preferred FARO scanning or drone/SUAS experience is a plus, but not required Preferred software experience includes AutoCAD, Civil 3D, FARO Scene, Recap, and Microsoft Office Suite Valid driver's license required Willingness to travel to project sites and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Nice-to-Have Experience LSIT certification PLS certification FARO scanning experience Drone/SUAS experience AutoCAD or Civil 3D drafting experience Trimble GPS experience Job Disclaimer Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
