Field Technician

Brandywine Septic Services, Inc. is looking for a versatile individual to join our team! This position involves regular, outdoor manual labor and said candidate will be exposed to many different outdoor weather conditions. We are willing to train, but candidate must be mechanically inclined and willing to learn.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Assist int he completion of septic system installations, which includes a substantial amount of manual and physical labor on a regular basis
• Operate multiple pieces of machinery, equipment and dump trucks
• Maintenance work on install equipment and vehicles
• Completing service work such as filter cleanings, system repairs, etc.
• Assist in other divisions within the company on an "as needed" basis
• Provide excellent customer service and customer follow up when necessary
• Miscellaneous duties as required

Preferred Skills, Education and Licensing:

• Clean driving record
• Ability to perform moderate lifting of equipment and materials
• Excellent customer service
• Previous field or service work experience (septic experience preferred, not required)
• Plumbing experience is a plus

Position Skills:

• Class B CDL
• preferred but not required
• Excavation experience preferred
• Equipment/machinery operation experience
• Employee must be able to pass a drug and background check

Expected hours of work:

Monday through Friday, 7am-3:30pm (with a 30-minute meal break). Hours may vary; some overtime may be expected during peak season (Fall and Spring seasons).

Competitive, commensurate with experience
