• Industrial Services Full time Beaumont, TX Our company is seeking General Laborers / Field Technicians to join our crew in our Industrial Services division.

The ideal candidate for this position is reliable and dedicated, a team player who works well with others. Technicians execute any needed fieldwork encompassed in environmental services, industrial cleaning and vacuuming, tank cleaning, waste packaging and disposal, site demolition, emergency spill response and site cleanup projects while under direct or indirect supervision. The Laborer will conduct daily tasks in accordance with established procedures, policies, and practices.

Responsibilities:

• Provide helper functions to include, but are not limited to, hydroblasting, chemical cleaning, vacuum truck operating, tank cleaning and other work assignments.
• Load hoses, chemicals and other equipment required for assigned jobs. Hook up and break down hoses using proper tools, following inspections, and proper safety procedures.
• Clean up work area and equipment after work is completed. Assist in maintaining a safe, workplace within customer's facility.
• Promote safety through own actions and work habits. Report all accidents and near misses, involving self, company vehicles or other job personnel to supervisor immediately.
• Perform Hazard Recognition Awareness to remove all hazards from the workplace.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor and management personnel.
• Develop a basic working knowledge of all equipment that is utilized in performing assigned duties.
• Must have reliable transportation and be ready for work at designated start times.
• Must follow all health and safety regulations.

Experience:

• Previous experience in Hydro-blasting or industrial environments preferred.
• experience in an industrial setting preferred but not required
• Must have valid driver's license
• TWIC card required
• Must be able to pass physical, drug screening and background

Work Environment:

• Carry out heavy duty tasks requiring medium to maximum physical exertion.
• Frequent standing or walking, lifting, and carrying materials or objects weighing 50 pounds, climbing up and down ladders or scaffolds carrying tools and equipment, working in confined space entry, stooped, crouched, or kneeling positions as required.
• Majority of work will be conducted in an outside environment in a Petro-chemical refinery where you could be exposed to all weather conditions.
• You may be required to wear PPE or respirator as needed.
