FILER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PRINCIPAL

Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced educational leader to join our team as the principal of Filer Elementary School. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a positive learning environment, promoting academic excellence, and supporting the social and emotional development of students. The principal will work collaboratively with teachers, staff, parents, and the community to ensure that all students receive a high-quality education and have the resources they need to succeed. Responsibilities Provide visionary leadership to create a positive school culture that promotes student learning and well-being. Oversee the development and implementation of the school's educational programs, ensuring alignment with district and state standards. Manage daily operations of the school, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Foster effective communication and collaboration among staff, students, parents, and the community. Conduct regular evaluations of staff performance and provide support for professional development. Implement and monitor school-wide initiatives to improve student achievement and address diverse learning needs. Ensure a safe and secure school environment that supports the emotional and physical well-being of all students. Engage in data-driven decision-making to assess and enhance academic performance and school improvement efforts. Represent the school at district meetings, community events, and other relevant forums. Stay informed about educational trends, policies, and best practices to continually enhance school operations. Requirements Master's degree in Education Administration, Leadership, or a related field. Valid state administrative credential or certification. Minimum of five years of experience in education, with at least three years in a leadership role. Strong understanding of curriculum development, instructional practices, and assessment strategies. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders. Proven ability to lead and inspire a team of educators and support staff. Knowledge of current educational technology and its applications in the classroom. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment for all students. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
