Job Description:
Finance and Administrative Coordinator - Push Cannabis (Warren, MI) Push Cannabis is hiring a Finance and Administrative Coordinator to be the financial and operational backbone of our growing cannabis distribution and production company. This is a high-trust role that touches money, vendors, and inventory every single day. You will make sure customers pay us on time, vendors get paid on time, the team has what they need to do their jobs, and the day-to-day operations of the business run smoothly.
Compensation Base Pay:
$22 to $24 per hour, negotiable based on experience
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, on-site in Warren, MI What You'll Do Accounts Receivable (primary focus) Post incoming payments (cash, check, ACH, wire) accurately in QuickBooks, Distru, LeafLink, and Google Sheets trackers invoices to customers after orders ship Notify customers of upcoming due dates and send proactive reminders Reach out to dispensary accounts on aged invoices, professionally and persistently Monitor bank deposits daily and reconcile incoming payments Maintain a weekly AR aging report and flag aged invoices to ownership Process deposits and maintain payment documentation per Michigan and federal recordkeeping requirements Vendor Management and Procurement Manage relationships with packaging suppliers, raw material vendors, and service providers Ensure vendors are paid accurately and on time Order raw materials, packaging, marketing materials, and staff supplies based on production schedule Maintain inventory of consumables and reorder before we run out Track vendor pricing, lead times, and quality issues Monthly Reporting Support Pull Distru and LeafLink exports each month Prep monthly close package for outside CPA and coordinate the close cadence Field CPA follow-up questions and provide source documentation Administrative Support Triage incoming email and flag what needs the owner's attention Manage calendar items and follow-ups for the owner File and organize business records, contracts, and documentation Light Marketing Execution Submit pre-written Kimp360 design briefs and follow up on revisions Send pre-built HubSpot retailer emails on schedule Draft social media captions for pre-approved post types Schedule pre-approved Instagram and TikTok posts Track basic campaign performance Maintain the master promotional calendar
Note:
this role executes marketing tasks to a pre-approved template. The role does not create marketing strategy or write campaign copy from scratch. Creative direction comes from ownership.
What We're Looking For Required:
Minimum 2 years of accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or office management experience Proficient in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel Comfortable making professional collection calls and emails At least 21 years of age Must obtain and maintain a valid Michigan cannabis employee badge prior to start date Ability to pass a background check per Michigan cannabis regulations Reliable transportation
Preferred:
Cannabis industry experience Experience with Distru and LeafLink Vendor management and supply ordering experience Experience with HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or other email marketing platforms Basic Canva or design tool experience Who Thrives Here Detail-obsessed people who are comfortable having direct conversations about money. Self-directed operators who can juggle multiple priorities daily without being managed minute to minute. The kind of person who is comfortable saying no to vendors, pushing back on retailers on payment terms, and escalating issues to ownership when needed.
