Job Description
Finance Business Partner
This is a high-impact role where you will provide financial leadership, deliver insight-led analysis, and work closely with senior stakeholders to optimise performance within a complex contract environment.
The RoleYou will lead all financial planning and reporting activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes, ensuring robust controls and high-quality output. Acting as a trusted advisor to the operational team, you will interpret financial data, challenge performance, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
You will also oversee financial compliance, support contract management, and contribute to strategic initiatives, while leading and developing a small finance team.

HMP Forest Bank serves the courts of Greater Manchester and maintains strong community links with a clear focus on resettlement.
We provide quality‑of‑life services that support people to make positive changes, offering education, training and work‑ready skills to everyone in custody.
Our support continues after release through partnerships that help individuals maintain recovery and lead law‑abiding lives.
The prison includes 16 residential units, plus a healthcare centre, gym, library, workshops, visits hall, chaplaincy and kitchen.
