Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY 1.
Properly record in Plex activity related to Sanoh America's receivables and cash receipts 2. Properly record in Plex activity related to Sanoh America's payables
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Complete the cash application of the receivable cycle, including researching Accounts Receivable issues to ensure proper resolution 2. Process inventory and expense-related invoices of the payable cycle, including vendor research and inquiries 3. Identify, support, institute process improvements within the Accounting function 4. Assist any other Accounting function as needed
REQUIRED
EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE 1.
Working towards a Degree in Accounting or a related field 2. Completion of Freshman year
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES 1.
Effective organizational and time-management skills 2. Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills 3. Basic MS-Office skills 4. Effective problem-solving skills 5. Intermediate skills in basic math 6. Intermediate keyboarding and filing skills
REQUIRED DECISION-MAKING AND ORGANIZATION IMPACT 1.
This position manages the entire Receivable process, start to finish. If done ineffectively, possible results could include inaccurate application of funds, cash shortfalls, or costly short-term borrowing. 2. This position processes inventory and expense-related invoices. If this is not done effectively, we may overstate available cash, have cash shortfalls, and costly short-term operating loans.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS 1.
This position reports to the Plant Manager 2. This position has no direct reports
WORKING CONDITIONS 1.
Office work environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 1.
Periodically may require long periods of keyboarding 2. May need to use stairs
