Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and drive fiscal excellence across the organization. In this pivotal role, you will oversee financial planning, analysis, reporting, and compliance, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and organizational goals. Your expertise will support sustainable growth, optimize resource allocation, and strengthen our financial health. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, financial software, and risk management strategies. Duties Lead the preparation and interpretation of financial statements, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). Oversee corporate accounting functions such as general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, cost accounting, and account analysis to maintain precise financial records. Manage budgeting processes, financial forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives to support organizational growth and operational efficiency. Conduct risk analysis and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial exposure across all departments. Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements related to governmental accounting standards, ASC 606 revenue recognition rules, and other relevant regulations. Supervise treasury management activities including cash flow analysis, investment management, and cost control measures to optimize liquidity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business development efforts, including investment evaluation, cost management strategies, and financial concept application for new projects or initiatives. Utilize advanced financial software tools for accurate bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliation, account reconciliation, and financial report writing. Lead audits by internal teams or external agencies to verify adherence to legal standards and organizational policies. Provide leadership in fostering a culture of continuous improvement in financial processes while mentoring junior finance staff. Experience Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar senior finance role within diverse sectors such as non-profit organizations or governmental agencies. Extensive knowledge of IAS (International Accounting Standards), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and technical accounting practices including ASC 606 revenue recognition standards. Demonstrated expertise in corporate finance functions such as strategic planning, investment management, risk analysis, cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and fiscal management. Strong background in financial analysis, report interpretation, and writing comprehensive financial reports for executive leadership or board review. Hands-on experience with financial software systems used for general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, cash flow analysis, and compliance management. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to guide teams through complex financial processes while maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments and clear presentation of financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
