You will play a pivotal role in optimizing fiscal workflows and providing actionable insights that guide business decision-making and long-term growth. Responsibilities Lead the full-cycle month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Direct the accounts payable and payroll departments, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance. Spearhead annual budget preparation and conduct rigorous monthly variance analysis to track business performance. Evaluate the ROI of sales and marketing initiatives to provide data-driven recommendations to leadership. Manage tax compliance, including sales tax filings and annual IRS reporting requirements. Mentor and develop the accounting team through constructive performance coaching and talent acquisition. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial workflows and internal controls. Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee necessary monthly adjustments. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial management or accounting operations. Proven track record of supervising staff and managing departmental workflows. Strong proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and organizational management. Preferred Skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders. Advanced knowledge of GAAP and internal control frameworks. Experience with ERP systems and automated accounting software.
