The ideal candidate will have cost accounting experience and demonstrated understanding of general accounting knowledge in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for RAPA LP Production cost budgeting - budget planning, budget compliance and control of cost center budgets in alignment with the budget of RAPA group. Facilitates understanding of budget and analysis of budget gaps with the broader RAPA LP team. Supports project teams in cost decision making. Analyzes actual costs vs. standard cost and prepares periodic reporting comparing standard costs to actual production costs. (Target to Actual comparison) Creation of product and project calculations as well as cost breakdowns in alignment with RAPA Group Headquarters Supports RAPA in analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, labor, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs. Records cost information for use in controlling expenditures. Monitor and track CIP activities Support RAPA Group as needed with Controlling topics and alignment of calculation tools. Close coordination with RAPA Group to align with contribution margin. Close coordination with COO to align investment tracking. Other duties as assigned. Skills, Education and Experience Minimum of bachelor's degree in accounting or related field Minimum of 3 years controlling and/or cost accounting experience and demonstrated understanding of general accounting knowledge in a manufacturing environment including Asset budgeting. Strong skills in ERP applications (experience with ProAlpha a plus). Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills with a pronounced business partner mindset Ability to travel internationally including onboarding training in Germany (up to two weeks) and regularly at least twice a year. Knowledge of German language and experience working with German companies a plus. Strong analytical skills, ideally accompanied by experience in implementing and using BI-tools Essential Physical/Mental Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
