About this Role Quanta Power Solutions is seeking an experienced Accountant II to support financial operations, project accounting activities, and reporting functions across the organization. This role will work closely with accounting, operations, and project teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely reconciliations, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments Perform complex general ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Analyze financial data and assist with preparing internal financial reports Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed Assist with project accounting, including cost tracking, forecasting, and cost allocation Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records and supporting documentation Support internal and external audit requests and compliance initiatives Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and financial reporting needs Identify process improvement opportunities and assist with implementing efficiencies within accounting functions Employee may be required to visit job sites, field offices, and customer locations What You'll Bring Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3-5+ years of accounting experience Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Experience with general ledger reconciliations and month-end close processes Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards or similar platforms Exposure to project-based or construction accounting Prior experience supporting audits and compliance processes CPA certification or active progress toward CPA designation Experience working in infrastructure, construction, or utility industries What You'll Get Competitive Compensation Weekly Pay 401(k) Retirement Plan Holiday Pay Paid Time Off (PTO) Comprehensive Health Coverage Pet Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Professional Development Opportunities Tuition Assistance Employee Discount Program Equal Opportunity Employer All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex (including gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity), age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, and/or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
