Job Description:
Senior Accountant A growing healthcare services organization seeking a Senior Accountant to support accounting operations and financial reporting across a dynamic and expanding multi-location platform. The organization operates within a fast-paced environment focused on operational excellence, strategic growth, and high-quality patient care.
Position Overview:
The Senior Accountant will support month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger activities across multiple entities and locations. This individual will work closely with accounting leadership and operational teams to help drive accurate financial reporting, improve processes, and support ongoing business growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Support corporate and property-level accounting operations, including general ledger activities, reconciliations, accounts payable/accounts receivable support, and month-end close processes. Prepare and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting across multiple entities and locations. Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls and procedures. Assist with maintaining accurate financial records and supporting consolidated reporting processes. Partner with operational leadership to support financial performance analysis and reporting initiatives at the location level. Assist with process improvements, workflow efficiencies, and accounting system enhancements. Support audit requests, ad hoc reporting, and special accounting projects as needed Assist with acquisition integration activities and related accounting support as the organization continues to grow. Collaborate with accounting leadership, FP&A, and other internal departments regarding reporting and financial analysis needs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA or CPA-track preferred. 3-6 years of accounting experience, preferably within public accounting and/or a multi-entity or multi-location environment. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting processes. Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Experience working in healthcare, real estate, hospitality, or another operationally focused multi-location industry preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with operational and financial teams.
