We are looking for a full-time Senior Accountant to join our growing, agile and innovative team in our Birmingham, AL corporate office. Primary responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include but are not limited to: Monthly P&L responsibility (one or more regions) Conduct monthly financial reviews and variance analysis; record corrections as needed with adherence to GAAP Manage external relationships with teaming partners, state agencies, etc. Prepare G/L account reconciliations and record related adjustments Calculate and record monthly corporate expense allocations Assess and develop key internal controls; focus on continuous improvement Develop and coach chef-managers on financial tasks; interact regularly with regional managers and executive team Maintain organized, accurate records for annual audits
