The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction accounting and technical accounting principles, with a thorough understanding of GAAP and financial concepts. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements. Familiarity with AIA billing. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. Utilize Quickbooks software for accounting functions, including managing accounts payable and receivable. Perform financial audits to assess compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate reporting of financial information. Assist in the preparation of reports related to construction and staffing projects as needed. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations that may impact the organization. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in corporate accounting with a solid understanding of technical accounting principles. Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes. Familiarity with regulations is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across teams. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
