Direct Hire Project Accountant / Construction Accountant Join our client as a Project Accountant and step into a high-impact role where you'll manage the financial side of diverse architecture and engineering projects. From project setup through closeout, you'll work directly with project managers and leadership to ensure financial accuracy and transparency that drives successful outcomes. Benefits & Extras Collaborative, supportive team environment Health, dental, vision insurance & 401k High-visibility role supporting leadership and project teams Involvement in the full project lifecycle Growth potential in a stable and respected organization What You'll Be Doing Establish and maintain billing schedules in coordination with project managers Prepare and submit accurate client invoices on time Review and allocate consultant, engineering, and vendor invoices to projects Monitor job costs and ensure alignment with project budgets Process client payments and maintain financial records Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain data integrity Assist with month-end and year-end close activities What You'll Need to be Considered Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Strong knowledge of job cost accounting, project billing processes, and percentage of completion accounting 3+ years of project accounting in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry Experience with ERP systems (Sage, QuickBooks, or Deltek preferred) Advanced Excel skills How To Apply We'd love to see your resume, but we don't need it to have a conversation.
