Job Summary Candidate must be able to teach Accounting courses. The preferred candidate will teach Managerial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting I and Il, Federal Income Tax , Government Accounting and Auditing. Essential Job Duties Teach Accounting courses. Accounting, Intermediate Accounting I and Il, Federal Income Tax , Government Accounting and Auditing. Conduct research and publish in academic Accounting, Finance, and/or Business Analytics Publications. Teach courses on site at Tuskegee University. Provide students with internship opportunities through external organizations ( NABA). Help students to navigate in Business models ,Block chain, and other environments. Introduce students to various industry strategies and prepare Accounting majors for CPA Exam. Participate in several university functions. These functions include convocations and annual commencement exercises. Preferred Qualifications Candidate with a Ph.D/DBA in Accounting or related area from an AACSB accredited institution. Experience in Accounting and Auditing Sales, is preferred. Preferred to have scholarly academic (SA) status for AACSB standards. Candidate must be available to teach on site at Tuskegee University. FLSA Exempt Status Full-Time Skills and Attributes Must have an understanding of educating underserved students.
