Sr. Accountant -
Pruitt Financial Full-time Hourly Summary:
The Sr. Accountant is responsible for overseeing the financial and accounting practices for Pruitt Financials' commercial business clients. This role involves preparing detailed financial reports, analyzing business performance, and providing strategic advice to ensure financial success and compliance.Duties Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present monthly financial reports for commercial business clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Financial Analysis & Forecasting:
Analyze business operations, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues, expenses, and provide actionable business advice.Budget Monitoring & Comparison:
Prepare periodic reports comparing budgeted versus actual costs, identifying discrepancies, and recommending adjustments as needed.Accounting Systems Development:
Develop, implement, and refine accounting systems and recordkeeping practices, leveraging current technology to improve efficiency and accuracy.Client Needs Assessment & Solutions:
Evaluate client operations to identify accounting needs and recommend tailored solutions to address financial challenges and improve business performance.Tax Consultation & Strategy:
Assist in consulting with clients to prepare tax returns and recommend tax strategies that align with their business goals.Client Support & Inquiries:
Provide timely, accurate responses to client inquiries related to tax, payroll, and general accounting matters, ensuring exceptional service.Client Relationship Management:
Deliver exceptional, client-focused service by offering friendly, accurate, and responsible solutions to meet clients' financial needs.Education:
College degree requiredExperience:
3-5 years of accounting experienceCertifications/Licenses Required:
