Job Description LUV Car Wash was founded in September 2021 and has rapidly grown to more than 80 locations across six states: California, Nevada, Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. We are seeking a detail oriented Staff Accountant to join our expanding team and support our mission to become the best car wash operator in the industry.

EAP General Summary of Duties:
The Staff Accountant supports month-end close, prepares journal entries and account reconciliations, performs accounting analyses, and assists with financial reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, critical thinking, ownership, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-location organization.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Occasional prolonged periods of walking/standing. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Essential Functions:
Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation accurately and timely. Own assigned accounting processes, account reconciliations, and month-end close workstreams from initiation through completion. Analyze financial results and investigate unusual transactions, trends, variances, and account activity. Assist with financial reporting, management reporting, and supporting schedules. Maintain organized documentation and supporting schedules in accordance with company policies and audit requirements. Collaborate with operations teams, accounting leadership, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure accounting records accurately reflect business activity. Support process improvements, system implementations, automation initiatives, audits, and other cross-functional projects as assigned monthly merchant account statements. Other duties as assigned. Job holder must demonstrate current competencies applicable to the job position.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Experience:
3+ years of accounting experience required. Experience with month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement support. Experience in a multi-location environment preferred. Experience supporting audits, financial reporting, process improvements, or special accounting projects preferred. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Excel, including lookups, pivot tables, and data analysis. Experience with accounting systems and financial software, including Intacct, Ramp, FloQast, or similar platforms preferred.
