HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBURE TO THE COMPANY
The Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting the finance department in creating accurate and timely financial records for the organization, and to directly assist the Controller with special projects as needed. The individual will be responsible for producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines and procedures.
WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Prepare accounting records, including financial statements and other financial reports, to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to standards defined within the department. Report to the Controller the finances of the organization. Manage the billing and invoicing of Company charges back to suppliers and facilitate prompt payments. Administer company reimbursement programs, including monitoring compliance of members and determining monthly payments. Establish records of accounts and input entries into to proper accounts. Document and ensure proper keeping of financial records, making use of current technologies. Directly assist the Controller with special projects and work as needed. Ability to deliver quality work on a consistent basis using a methodical output for timely and error-free work Supervise entry-level accounting personnel

WORK SETTING
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed the following work environments: This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
PHYSICAL APPLICATIONS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This is a largely sedentary role, however some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent number of years of experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance with college-level Accounting coursework 0 -3 years of experience in accounting and/or beverage wholesale fields.
