Our rapidly expanding manufacturing company is in search of an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This position requires a high level of financial acumen, a strong understanding of business operations, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that are crucial to the financial health of our company. These include but are not limited to: 1. Overseeing the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and reported in a timely manner. 2. Preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports, identifying trends and providing insights to management. 3. Maintaining the integrity of the General Ledger, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet analysis. 4. Providing cost analysis support to other departments, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities. 5. Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. 6. Providing support for internal and external audits, and implementing any necessary corrective actions. 7. Working closely with other departments to improve financial procedures, reduce costs, and enhance efficiencies. 8. Training and mentoring junior accounting staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus. 2. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry. 3. Proven expertise in month-end close procedures, financial reporting, general ledger management, and cost accounting. 4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations. 5. Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail. 6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. 7. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. 8. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. 9.
