You'll be the sole accounting professional on-site, responsible for standing up the books from day one and managing every aspect of the financial cycle.

This role is ideal for someone who wants full ownership of their work without layers of bureaucracy. You'll report directly to leadership, build systems that make sense, and run a clean operation on your own terms.

Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of property accounting, including CAM reconciliations and commercial real estate accounting. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Utilize property management and accounting software for all accounting tasks. Review and approve all property-related invoices, ensuring they are coded and posted correctly. Monitor and manage cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts for properties. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure all financial information is accurate and compliant with accounting standards and regulations. Collaborate with property managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Lead annual and capital budget preparation in partnership with the property manager. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and operations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of 8+ years of experience in property accounting, CAM reconciliations, and commercial real estate accounting Experience with commercial property types, including office, retail, and restaurant, is required. Proficiency in Yardi, MRI, or similar property management and accounting software Strong understanding of financial statements, including income statements Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel What We Offer Competitive compensation 401(k) plan Benefits package available Direct access to leadership and real input into how things are run A professional environment where your expertise is respected and your time is valued
