The A/R Staff Accountant will be responsible for high-volume accounts receivable, billing, and collections processes. The A/R Staff Accountant will also assist with month/year-end close procedures, prepare journal entries, perform bank & account reconciliation, create management reports, review sales orders, respond promptly to customer billing inquiries, keep management and departments updated on past due accounts, as well as prepare and generate accurate cash flow reports for management review. Additional duties for the A/R Staff Accountant include managing customer collection efforts, applying payments to accounts, updating the aging report, account reconciliation, and handling client billing. Bachelor's degree is preferred. At least three years of accounts receivable / billing /collections and general accounting experience. Familiarity with the logistics/distribution industry is a plus (i.e., terminals, racks, bills of lading, purchase orders, etc.). Multi-tasking skills and flexibility are critical. Must have excellent communication skills. Energetic, positive personality is ideal! Must be a self-starter and take initiative. Good MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel, etc.) skills are important. Excellent problem-solving skills are also required. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment is essential. Pay, $75 - 83k.
