Job Description

Job DescriptionJob Description Taieb & Asscociates, a CPA firm located in Beverly Hills, is looking for a Junior/Senior Tax Accountant who has experience with performing all aspects of bookeeping (reconciliations, journal entries, accruals etc...) preparing tax returns for small to medium size businesses and individuals, and who understands how to read and analyze financial statements. The Junior/Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for general bookkeeping duties, sales tax preparation (monthly and quarterly), year end tax planning, and preparation of individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Bookkeeping duties such as reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, accounts payable,accounts receivable, month-end closing entries
  • Preparation of individual, corporate and partnership tax returns
  • Perform tax research
  • Resolve tax notices from IRS or other tax authorities
  • Assist our clients who use Quickbooks in performing bookkeeping functions
  • Review client's financial statements for accuracy Desired Skills/Experience/Attributes
  • 2+ year of tax /accounting experience
  • Excellent communication skills-French Language ability preferred.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office- especially Excel and Word.
  • Ability to understand and analyze financial statements.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle a high-volume workload
  • Experience in international and real estate taxation a big plus. The ideal candidate for this position:
  • Has an entrepreneurial drive, highly motivated and driven to succeed
  • Must be able to manage multiple clients and tasks and set priorities
  • Has previous CPA firm experience
  • Has interest in joining a firm with a stable and team-oriented culture Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
