Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage the monthly close process for assigned properties and ensure financial records are finalized on schedule.
- Produce monthly financial reports and supporting compliance documentation for internal and external review.
- Maintain the general ledger by recording journal entries, reviewing balances, and preparing necessary adjustments.
- Reconcile bank activity and resolve discrepancies to keep accounts accurate and current.
- Track cash positions across the portfolio and help anticipate funding requirements.
- Coordinate with accounts payable staff to confirm vendor payments are processed accurately and on time.
- Respond to requests for financial data from management and other business partners.
- Prepare year-end schedules and supporting documentation for audit and tax reporting needs.
- Contribute to ad hoc analyses, reporting requests, and special projects as business needs arise.
