We are seeking a Staff/Senior Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities, preparing financial reports, managing reconciliations, and assisting with month-end and year-end close. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial close activities. Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and employee reimbursements. Manage cash activity, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions. Support acquisitions, new entity setup, and accounting for investment activities. Assist with investor accounting, distributions, and financial reporting. Prepare lender reporting and support loan compliance requirements. Help coordinate audits, tax preparation, and year-end reporting. Assist with budgeting, special projects, and process improvements. Utilize accounting technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. 1-5 years of accounting experience (Fund accounting or real estate/ property management experience is a plus but not required). Strong understanding of GAAP and the full accounting cycle. Experience with accounting or ERP systems Advanced Excel skills and experience working with reconciliations and financial reporting. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet recurring deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
