Job Description
This position reports to the Controller and is based in our Corporate Office in Los Angeles.
Key Areas of Responsibility Own the daily operations of the accounting department, including daily sales and bank reconciliations. Liaison with store teams for cash handling, chargebacks, and receiving history. Responsible for month-end close tasks and general ledger maintenance Expense report and reimbursement management Analyze and prepare sales tax payments through Avalara. Serve as the expense management administrator and review associated reimbursements. Manage "Accounting" inbox for department communications. Assist with providing documentation for Year End Audit and review requests. Maintain documentation of proper accounting policies and procedures. Provide recommendations for improving processes and procedures. Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential and operating with a high level of integrity. Required Skills 3+ years or more of related experience required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in NetSuite preferred. Detail and solution-oriented. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer & lifting to 15 pounds. Accounting Degree required. Salary $80,000-$85,000 + annual discretionary bonus
