$27•30 Job Summary A leading international logistics and supply chain company is currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized staff accountant. This position will support daily accounting and financial operations related to freight forwarding, transportation, import/export services, and supply chain activities. The ideal candidate will have experience with accounting processes, accounts receivable, reconciliations, invoicing, and financial reporting in a fast-paced environment. Logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry experience is highly preferred. Responsibilities Review and validate payment vouchers against vendor invoices, shipment services, and agreed-upon pricing. Process accounting transactions in accordance with company policies and accounting standards. Maintain and audit accounting records including general ledgers, sub-ledgers, invoices, and financial reports. Review operational files to ensure revenue and expenses are entered accurately and timely. Manage accounts receivable activities and monitor customer payment status. Partner with operations and leadership teams to mitigate overdue balances and collection risks. Reconcile payments against customer, vendor, bank, and third-party payment statements. Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and variance reporting. Prepare invoices and support tax reporting requirements in compliance with local regulations. Maintain organized accounting records, reports, and financial documentation. Review payroll-related expenses, commissions, and operational costs for accuracy. Coordinate with external accounting firms, auditors, and financial partners as needed. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Assist with additional accounting and finance projects as assigned. Requirements Bachelor's degree, major in financial management/accounting, intermediate title/junior title. More than 3 years of working experience in overall accounting (General ledger account and reporting), preferably in the freight forwarding industry. Familiar with US accounting standards Skilled in the use of financial software, office software, Excel etc. Organized with strong communication and interpersonal skills Track record of performance working within a matrixed organization. Willing and able to adapt to evolving organizational policies, systems, KPIs, and priorities. Familiar with and able to meet the periodic changes in workload inherent in an accounting role at month, quarter, and year end. Benefits Health Insurance Competitive pay #COR1
