Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. This role will maintain and manage client accounting records and provide support during tax season, working closely with our tax and accounting professionals to deliver accurate, timely service to our clients. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate client accounting records, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and general ledger entries Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for clients Assist with individual and business tax return preparation Support payroll processing and related compliance tasks as needed Communicate directly with clients to gather documentation and answer routine questions Identify and resolve discrepancies in client financial records Collaborate with CPAs and senior staff on client engagements Stay current on accounting standards and tax law changes relevant to client work Qualifications Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or tax preparation preferred (public accounting experience a plus) Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks and similar platforms) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Pay:
From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per week
