Staff Accountant Ledgent Finance & Accounting - 4.0 Culver City, CA Job Details Full-time | Contract $33 - $35 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications GAAP Full Job Description Staff Accountant This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a mission‑driven healthcare environment and is comfortable managing a variety of accounting tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner Assist with month‑end and year‑end close procedures Reconcile bank statements, credit card activity, and balance sheet accounts Prepare financial reports and support budgeting and forecasting efforts Work closely with program managers and administrative staff to ensure proper documentation and coding of expenses Support audits by organizing and providing required financial documentation Ensure compliance with internal controls and organizational accounting policies Qualifications 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare, nonprofit, or multi‑program environments Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop or Online) Solid understanding of GAAP and standard accounting practices Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial data Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
