Los Angeles, CA (West LA -Onsite)

Direct Hire A well-established public accounting and business management firm is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is comfortable working across the full tax lifecycle (A-Z) and contributing as an individual contributor rather than in a managerial capacity. Qualifications CPA or EA (or tracking) required 2+ years of public accounting or business management experience (5+ years preferred overall) Strong technical tax knowledge across multiple entity types Experience with CCH Axcess or QuickBooks preferred Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment Key Responsibilities Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and estate tax returns Perform tax planning and consulting for clients Generate financial reports using QuickBooks or similar accounting software Post adjusting journal entries, including reclassifying expenses and maintaining accurate schedules Support client bookkeeping and ensure accuracy of financial data All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
