•$70,000 per year Reports to : CEO About YCA YCA (Yama Creator Agency) is a creator management company representing top-tier talent in the tech and automotive verticals across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. We negotiate and manage brand partnerships between our creator roster and some of the biggest names in consumer tech, EV, and automotive. We're a lean, fast-moving team. The person in this seat will own the day-to-day accounting function and have direct visibility into how a modern creator business runs

•from brand invoicing to talent payouts. The Role We're looking for a Staff Accountant to take ownership of our books, keep cash flow tight, and make sure our creators and vendors get paid accurately and on time. This is a hands-on role with real ownership

•not a narrow, one-task position. You'll work directly with ownership and have a meaningful say in how we build out our financial processes. What You'll Do Own day-to-day bookkeeping in

QuickBooks Online:

AP, AR, bank and credit card reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance Generate and send brand and agency invoices tied to executed influencer agreements; track deliverable milestones against payment triggers Manage accounts receivable and actively follow up on aging invoices, including net-30 and net-60 brand payment terms Calculate and process talent payouts, including commission splits and revenue share per each creator's management agreement Administer 1099 contractor onboarding (W-9 collection), payments, and year-end 1099-NEC filing Perform month-end close: accruals, prepaid amortization, journal entries, and account reconciliations Prepare monthly financial statements and variance commentary for ownership Maintain deal

•and campaign-level revenue tracking so we can see profitability by brand, creator, and campaign Support the CPA at year-end with clean, well-documented workpapers and schedules Track business expenses, corporate card activity, and vendor spend; flag anomalies Help document and improve internal accounting processes and controls as we scale What We're Looking For Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2+ years of full-cycle accounting or staff accountant experience Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online Solid Excel or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic modeling) Working understanding of GAAP and accrual-basis accounting Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail

•you catch things others miss Ability to manage competing deadlines with minimal hand-holding Clear, professional written communication (you'll be emailing brands and creators directly) Nice to Have Experience in media, entertainment, advertising, talent management, or a creator/influencer business Familiarity with revenue-share, commission, or royalty accounting Experience with contractor-heavy payroll and 1099 compliance Exposure to Notion, Bill.com, Ramp/Brex, Gusto, or similar tools
