Job Description
Johnson Service Group, a nationally award-winning staffing firm, has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Accountant for a Global Medical Device Company in El Segundo, CA Contract | Hybrid| $120 - $135 per hour Summary Immediate contract opportunity for a Senior Accountant with Big 4 or public accounting experience and SAP exposure. This role will support The Senior Accountant will assist with The ideal candidate brings Big 4 or large regional public accounting experience, strong knowledge of GAAP, and exposure to SAP S/4HANA, financial reporting, and accounting process improvement. Responsibilities Strong fixed asset experience is a must Cleaning up the CIP accounts Fixed Assets across 3 entities; 1 is fairly clean, 2 are fairly messy. Two additional entities may be added. Determine which projects are in the account, who is the manager, % completion, etc. Follow up with project managers and help client get the accounts cleaned up and under control. Proactively communicate updates and escalate items as necessary. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting 5+ years of accounting experience 2+ years public accounting experience preferred Strong fixed asset experience is a must Cleaning up the CIP accounts Fixed Assets across 3 entities; 1 is fairly clean, 2 are fairly messy.
