Job Description

Sr. Property Accountant - El Segundo, CA Seeking an in-office Senior Property Accountant to manage a real estate portfolio consisting of 6 multifamily properties and 2 commercial assets while supporting corporate-level accounting and fund administration. The ideal candidate will be an expert in the Yardi platform (Voyager, custom report building, Vendor Cafe, and IM portal) and capable of handling everything from property-level transactions to broader entity-level reporting.
Key Responsibilities Property Accounting:
Manage full-cycle accounting, monthly closes, financial packages, bank reconciliations, and CAM/lease administration.
Corporate Accounting:
Support general ledger accounting, intercompany transactions, consolidations, budgeting, and forecasting.
Fund Administration:
Act as the main point of contact for external fund administrators, ensuring data accuracy for investor reporting and audits.
Yardi Systems:
Build custom reports in Yardi Voyager, maintain data in the Investment Management (IM) portal, and manage vendor compliance via Vendor Cafe.
Requirements & Qualifications Experience:
5+ years of real estate/property accounting experience (corporate/entity-level exposure is a strong plus).
Systems:
Advanced proficiency in Yardi (Voyager, custom reporting, Vendor Cafe, IM portal) and advanced Excel skills.
Skills:
Hands-on experience with CAM reconciliations and working with outside fund administrators.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA is a plus).
Location:
Must be local and able to work on-site 5 days a week.
Comp:
