LHH is partnering with a well-established and expanding real estate company seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys a collaborative environment, wants exposure to a variety of accounting functions, and is eager to continue developing their career. What you'll be doing: Prepare monthly financial statements , including journal entries and account reconciliations Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations Support the month-end and year-end close processes , including accruals and general ledger activity Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions Support accounting and reporting for multiple properties, projects, or business units Prepare and maintain various financial reports and schedules Assist with tax filings, audits, and compliance-related activities Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process Collaborate with operations and management teams to support business objectives What they're looking for: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred 3+ years of accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software/ERP systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills Why consider this opportunity?
