Job Description
Review general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries, including adjustments and corrections, to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Perform analysis and reconcile accounts, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Maintain and update the general ledger chart of accounts to ensure consistency and alignment with organizational requirements.
Assist in initial evaluations of internal controls and identify areas for improvement to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
Post monthly, quarterly, and yearly accrual entries accurately and ensure they align with financial policies and procedures.
