Job Description
A growing healthcare organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, month-end close, and accounting operations. This role will work closely with leadership and play an important role in maintaining financial accuracy while helping improve accounting processes.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where collaboration and accountability are highly valued.
ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & CloseLead month-end and year-end close activitiesPrepare complex journal entries and account reconciliationsReview general ledger transactions and financial reporting schedulesAssist with financial statement preparation and analysisEnsure compliance with accounting policies and proceduresProcess Improvement & AnalysisSupport budgeting and forecasting initiativesAssist with audit preparation and external reporting requirementsAnalyze financial results and investigate variancesRecommend and implement process improvements where appropriate
