Full-Time / On-Site Ability to speak Mandarin Chinese is a plus. Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented, driven Entry-Level Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager (or Controller), you will assist in day-to-day accounting operations, routine bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent accounting graduate or early-career professional looking to build a strong foundation in corporate accounting under direct mentorship.
Key Responsibilities General Ledger & Bookkeeping:
Assist in maintaining accurate general ledger accounts and post routine journal entries. Accounts Payable (AP): Process vendor invoices, match purchase orders, verify approvals, and prepare weekly payment batches. Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate and issue customer invoices, record incoming payments, and assist with soft collections outreach.
Account Reconciliations:
Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations; identify and investigate discrepancies.
Month-End Close:
Support the Accounting Manager/Controller with month-end close activities, accrued expenses, and balance sheet account reconciliations.
Audit & Compliance Support:
Maintain organized financial filing systems and pull documentation for internal/external audits or tax filings as requested.
Ad-Hoc Projects:
Provide operational and numerical support on special financial projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience/associate degree).
Software Skills:
o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas). o Familiarity with ERP software is a plus, especially Batchmaster.
Core Competencies:
o Strong numerical accuracy and high attention to detail. o Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP). o Good verbal and written communication skills. o Ability to handle confidential financial information with high discretion.
