This position will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting timely close activities, and ensuring balance sheet accounts are properly reconciled. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on expertise in general ledger management, journal entry preparation, and bank reconciliation work within a fast-paced accounting environment. Responsibilities:

Lead monthly close activities by preparing schedules, reviewing account activity, and helping ensure deadlines are met accurately. Maintain the integrity of the general ledger through detailed analysis, correction of discrepancies, and consistent monitoring of financial transactions. Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation and a strong focus on accuracy and compliance. Perform account reconciliations on a regular basis to identify variances, resolve outstanding items, and support clean financial reporting. Complete bank reconciliations by comparing cash activity, researching exceptions, and clearing reconciling differences promptly. Use Sage Intacct to manage accounting records, generate supporting reports, and assist with day-to-day financial processes. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather financial information, clarify account activity, and support reporting needs. Assist with audit preparation and documentation by organizing reconciliations, entries, and supporting records for review. At least 5 years of accounting experience in a senior-level or comparable accounting role. Demonstrated success managing month-end close responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment. Strong working knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entry preparation. Experience performing detailed account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies independently. Hands-on experience with bank reconciliations and cash-related account analysis. Proficiency with NetSuite. High level of accuracy, organization, and analytical problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
