$35-$42/hour Overview We are seeking a Senior General Ledger Accountant to support increased workload within a nonprofit environment. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and prior experience in nonprofit accounting. Key Responsibilities Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Prepare and post journal entries and monthly close activities Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis Ensure accuracy and compliance with nonprofit accounting standards Support audits and provide documentation as needed Analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies Collaborate with internal teams on accounting processes and improvements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience Prior nonprofit accounting experience required Experience with Blackbaud or Financial Edge strongly preferred Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting High attention to detail and strong organizational skills All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
