This contract opportunity is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys partnering with operations, purchasing, and production teams to improve processes, strengthen controls, and support accurate financial decision-making. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in month-end close, general ledger accuracy, inventory analysis, and manufacturing cost reporting. Candidates who enjoy process improvement, operational accounting, and working closely with cross-functional teams will be well positioned for success. Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules. Manage month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. Support inventory accounting, cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and review of inventory transactions. Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory variances, margins, and standard costing activity. Partner with operations, purchasing, and production teams to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting accuracy. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, audit support, and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
